Personal branding photos for Media Relations Coach Felicity Cowie

As an award-winning BBC News and Panorama journalist, Felicity Cowie was pitched at least 100,000 stories so has an insider’s view on what breaks through and why. As a media relations consultant and trainer for some of the world’s leading organisations (including the NHS, UCAS, and Virgin), she has successfully pitched, and coached others to pitch, stories resulting in thousands of pieces of media coverage.

Now she makes those insider secrets available to businesses that want to work directly with journalists. As a media relations coach, Felicity helps early-stage business scrutinise themselves and get ready to work with journalists for the first time, to ultimately become the go-to authority in their industry.

Felicity joined me in the studio to update her personal brand photos - read on for the results and watch the behind the scenes video below!

Why did you need new photos?

My photos were all at least four years old and I wanted images that would show clients exactly who I am today.

What are your brand words and how did you want to come across in your pictures?

My brand words are intriguing, valuable, authoritative.

As my work is very focused on words and writing, it's hard to illustrate it. So I wanted to use my photos as a visual way of getting across my energy.

Why did you decide to work with me rather than another photographer?

A LinkedIn connection liked your work on my feed and when I saw that I realised all the colours and energy and warmth of those pictures were what I also wanted to convey.

I’m sure you’ll agree that Felicity looks so vibrant, warm and friendly in her lovely new photos!
